ABOUT

My name is Jill Gorrie-Balas.

I have been an Interior Design Consultant for over 30 years and have extensive experience designing residential and commercial spaces. I love to design and create inspiring rooms that are both beautiful and functional, whether in contemporary, transitional or traditional styles that fit my client’s budgets. I have enjoyed and appreciated my relationships with my past clients and look forward to cultivating new ones at JAC Designs.

“Jill assisted us with re-decorating various rooms in our home. This included our kitchen and family room where Jill was given a blank slate and after reviewing our views on the project, she provided us with a couple of themes for us to review and consider.

We loved how Jill made us feel like we were part of her team when making decorating decisions. When we gave Jill our feedback, she was always open to make and suggest other possibilities to complete the look we were looking for.

Secondly, Jill again put together another plan for us to complete our living room and dining room. Again, Jill provided us with a couple of options and after allowing us to provide our feedback, she was able to complete the design. In addition, Jill tied in the theme from the kitchen and family room with the living and dining room, so there was a consistent flow incorporating the colour schemes used throughout our main floor living space.

Jill was always on time showing us her design ideas and was always open to our suggestions and feedback (very important). Jill would take our feedback and make the necessary changes to the original design and provide some alternative ideas for our consideration.

Jill also answered all of our questions and had the patience to walk us through why she was recommending a certain design or colour schemes. We were very pleased with her talents and would recommend Jill to any of our friends.”
